Third
Party (Additional Fee) Inspections
The following Third Party Inspections are not included in a
home inspection. However, Goff Home Inspections, LLC would be
happy to coordinate these additional inspections on your behalf.
In most instances, these additional inspections can be coordinated
to occur at the same time as your home inspection. Please
let my office know if you wish to purchase/schedule any of these
additional inspections when you schedule your inspection. Please
keep in mind that a third party inspection and all conditions,
fees and services provided constitute an agreement between you
and the third party inspection company.
If you suspect your home may have termites, carpenter ants,
powder post beetles or other wood destroying insects, or if
you just want the peace of mind a professional inspection can
offer, it is advisable to schedule a pest inspection for your
new home.
Well System Inspection
Water tapped by a private well is often of the highest quality.
When buying a home with a private well, your home inspection
should include a well system check up to ensure the well is
in good working order and the quality of the water produced
meets health standards. A standard home inspection does not
include this type of specialized inspection.
Septic Tank Inspection
If you are buying a home with a septic tank, you should consider
having it inspected by a professional septic contractor. A
standard home inspection does not include this type of specialized,
intrusive inspection. To properly inspect the system, the contractor
will need to dig holes to access the underground parts of the
system. This will include inspecting the tank, as well as the
leach field.
