I had the pleasure of working with Kevin Goff of Goff Home Inspections
last August when I was purchasing a 40-year-old home. Kevin was
highly recommended to me by my realtor to inspect my home prior
to finalizing the purchase.
Kevin arrived on time and performed a thorough and complete
inspection. He went over each system and section of the home
and pointed out areas that needed urgent repairs and things that
could wait as time and finances allowed. He made numerous suggestions
of ways to make repairs on my own and with help from contractors.
He left a complete, detailed written report of his findings.
My father, who retired after 35 years
as an electrician in the construction business, was here during
the inspection process. He was impressed with Kevin’s
diligence and broad knowledge base.
I have worked in customer service in
the health care industry for over 30 years. I recently oversaw
a large remodeling project at my workplace. I worked with multiple
contractors from various organizations. I was impressed with

Six months after I moved in, my basement
flooded. Since I respected Kevin’s expertise from our
previous encounter I immediately called him for his advice.
He returned my call promptly and scheduled an appointment immediately.
He again arrived on time, listened to explanation of my dilemma,
and performed a through inspection. During the inspection he
found the sump pump that empties the drain around my house
had broken. Since it never overflowed into that area it was
not easily detected.
As Kevin prepared to leave, I was pleasantly
surprised to hear when I asked him about the charge for his
second inspection that there was no charge- “it was part of the inspection service”.
I highly recommend Kevin Goff of Goff Home Inspections for his
attention to detail, knowledge, and professionalism. Through
out the years I have worked in customer service I can say he
is truly one of the best.
