My Qualifications

Goff Home Inspections, LLC is independently owned and operated. I work directly for my clients to provide them with a fair and objective evaluation on the overall condition of their home.

Kevin Goff (owner/certified inspector) has been inspecting homes in the mid-Michigan area since 2003.

I am a Certified Inspector/Member of the largest national home inspection association in the U.S. - The National Association of Certified Home Inspectors #NACHI05011697.

I have earned the designation of Master Certified Inspector due to the completion of over 1,000 inspections / hours of continuing education.

I have attended and successfully passed four week-long national home inspection curriculums.

I am a licensed Michigan Residential Builder #2101177174

I have over 30 years experience in home system and component installation, repair, remodeling and maintenance. In addition, I have specialized training in heating and cooling systems, electrical system, roofing, structural components, water intrusion, plumbing, attics, ventilation, and more.

I take an annual national home inspection exam to maintain NACHI certification.

I take a minimum of 24 continuing education credits annually to stay current with new construction materials and practices and new inspection techniques and equipment being used in the inspection industry.

I abide by NACHI's Code of Ethics

I perform all inspections in accordance with nationally recognized home inspection standards - NACHI Standards of Practice

I attend national home inspection conferences annually to upgrade my inspection skills, learn new inspection techniques, and assess new inspection tools being used within the home inspection industry.
